MANILA, Philippines — The Senate blue ribbon committee on Monday cited former Bulacan 1st district assistant engineer Brice Ericson Hernandez in contempt after he repeatedly denied allegations that he frequented casinos.
Sen. Erwin Tulfo moved to cite Hernandez in contempt which Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada seconded.
Hernandez allegedly used fake identification (ID) in order to enter casinos.

He reportedly used an ID issued by the Land Transportation Office bearing the name Marvin Santos de Guzman. Hernandez denied owning the ID.
